Carmine's

What a great place. The food is so plentiful you have to take some home for snacking on later. Great food, great service, love this place. I recommend it highly.

Corner Bistro
331 W 4th St, New York, Little Ferry,
I have tried many a burgers in NYC and this is the best hands down tastiest no frills burger in the Big Apple. Not a restaurant really, although there is a small room with tables, but a bar with a great burger. Unlike most best's in NYC, they are cheap. Do expect a line most nights. Enjoy! All burgers are 8 oz. Bistro Burger $5.00 Hamburger $4.00 Cheeseburger $4.75 Grilled Chicken Sandwich $4.50 Grilled Cheese with Bacon $3.75 BLT $3.50 Chili $3.50 Chili Burger $5.25 French Fries $2.00

Katz's Deli
205 E Houston St, New York, Little Ferry,
This may well appeal to some die-hard fans of the traditional American diner/deli but in my opinion avoid this place. If you go for one of the all time specials, I'm sure you'll be impressed by the volume of food; leaving that to one side, everything else is poor. I had a standard breakfast of eggs, toast, fries, etc and it was dreadful. Oily, cold and served by staff who were rude. The place itself hasn't changed in years and for many, that's the attraction. For me it was dirty and I stank of fat for hours after leaving. Go for a look if you are on a mission to see the sights (Sally met Harry etc) but go almost anywhere else in NYC for better food, service and cleanliness.

Lombardi's
32 Spring St, New York, Little Ferry,
Very good. We've been very happy with it. Usually a wait, but always well worth it! I recommend getting the fresh garlic on your pizza! (and then we usually do the "meatball" or "sausage" topping) It always get us out of our apartment even when we think we staying in for the night!
